Top Tips

• Treatment: To protect against rot and decay, paint or stain the timber after construction.
• Roof Covering: Any appropriate waterproof material is OK, but we generally recommend installing high-quality felt shingles because they are more durable than standard roofing felt.
• Foundation Beams: The base of your gazebo is just as important as the wall logs, so please consider it carefully. To achieve the optimum results, your foundation should be appropriately set up with pressure-treated foundation beams on concrete foundations; the bottom wall logs will be better protected from water damage. Unfortunately, these are not offered in the package and must be purchased independently.
