Top Tips

• Roof Covering: The Garden Lounge 2 arrives with a standard roofing felt included in the kit for the initial covering of the roof. As this is not a long-lasting material, we do recommend that this is replaced after a few months with a more durable material such as KSK foil or an EPDM membrane. You must buy this elsewhere as this is not a product we currently stock.
• Treatment: It's vital to apply stain or paint to all the exposed timber surfaces to protect against rot. You must also apply a preservative to the ground frame before assembly to protect it against moisture. We also recommend using bearers or rubber pads to avoid direct contact with the ground, which can help prevent water from damaging the timber.
• Tools Required: PPE, tape measure, ladder, spirit level, pencil, silicon sealant, hammer, knife, saw, square, power drill, 4mm drill bit, 8mm drill bit, star bit, cross head screwdriver bit.
