Its two open sides make it perfect for enjoying the summer breeze while providing shade and protection from the sun.

• 18mm tongue & groove roof boards are easy to handle and install.

• Treatment: After the construction of the Thuringen Gazebo is complete, it is essential to apply a water-repellent finish, such as paint or stain, to prevent the timbers from rotting due to exposure to the elements. This will help to protect the wood from moisture and UV damage, which can cause it to deteriorate over time. It's also important to note that untreated logs require routine maintenance to ensure longevity. This includes regular cleaning and reapplication of a water-repellent finish every few years, depending on the type of finish used and the climate in which the gazebo is located.
• Roof Covering: The roof is the most exposed part of the structure and is therefore susceptible to damage from the elements such as rain, snow, wind, and UV radiation. Although any waterproof material can protect the roof, we always recommend high-quality felt shingles. These are an excellent choice due to their lightweight, durability, and ease of installation. Felt shingles are made from high-quality roofing felt reinforced with bitumen and minerals, making them more robust than traditional roofing felt.
• Foundation Beams: We suggest purchasing pressure-treated foundation beams for the best protection against water damage. This will help to prevent moisture from seeping into the bottom wall logs and causing rot or decay. It's important to note that the pressure-treated foundation beams are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.
