Superior Wooden Gazebo Utilised as a Hot Tub Canopy in Weybridge, Surrey

After purchasing a hot tub a few months earlier this homeowner in Weybridge, Surrey contacted us with a request for a garden structure that would go over the Jacuzzi to provide shade, shelter and privacy for the homeowner and their family when they were using it.  We were therefore keen to find out a little more about this project so we could offer the best solution to meet their needs.

Customer Requirements

• A need for a fixed garden structure that is large enough to accommodate the hot tub and seating area
• The roof should have a pitched design to ensure rainwater runs away from the area
• Rectangular design that can be erected close to a fence
• Have the ability to withstand the worst of the UK weather allowing the hot tub to be used year round
• Any timber used should be pressure treated to protect against rotting.
• Fit into a space of 6m x 3.5m (this is the size of the existing paved area

Solution

Having been provided with a clear and concise brief from the customer we were able to offer a number of designs for the property owner. Our initial suggestion was to use the Large lean to pergola however as this would require a waterproof roof covering it was felt that the amount of work required to make this work would not be cost effective. As such our next solutions came in the form of our wooden gazebo kits. With 3 rectangular designs to choose from in a selection of sizes we were confident they would suit the customer needs.

Furthermore, with a pressure treated construction, solid timber components and the ability to anchor the structure to the ground they are easily capable of withstanding the worst of the UK weather.

After considering the options we had proposed, the customer decided to order the Superior wooden garden gazebo with our high quality brown felt shingles. As an option extra they also selected the bolt down anchors as these offer the simplest way to connect the gazebo direct to the paying slabs.

Viewing the photograph of the gazebo now fully assembled we think the results are pretty stunning and will undoubtedly enhance the overall hot tub experience.
