Top Tips

• Roof Covering: The Garden Lounge 1 comes with a standard roofing felt included in the kit for the initial covering of the roof. This should be replaced after a few months as it is not a long-lasting material. Therefore, we recommend using a more durable roofing membrane such as KSK foil or EPDM foil. You would need to purchase this elsewhere as this is not a product we currently stock.
• Treatment: The timber used to construct this product is untreated softwood. All exposed surfaces must be stained or painted to prevent rot. Furthermore, before assembly, you must apply a preservative to the ground frame to protect it against moisture. As an additional precaution, we advise using ground bearers or rubber pads to avoid direct contact with the ground.
• Tools Required: PPE, tape measure, ladder, spirit level, pencil, silicon sealant, hammer, knife, saw, square, power drill, 4mm drill bit, 8mm drill bit, star bit, cross head screwdriver bit.
