Top Tips

• Treatment: Once you have constructed the gazebo, applying a water-repellent finish like paint or stain is the most effective way to keep the wood in good condition. Untreated logs will eventually rot; therefore, regular upkeep is necessary.
• Roof Covering: Your cabin roof would benefit significantly from our easy-roofing membrane. It offers a waterproof covering over the top deck of your cabin and is a simple, quick, and affordable solution. Alternatively, you can use any reputable roofing material, including mineral roofing felt or EPDM.
• Foundation Beams: Because it is built from the ground up, your foundation must be laid appropriately. We advise using pressure-treated foundation beams laid out on concrete foundations for the base of your cabin, as the bottom wall logs will be better protected from water damage. Unfortunately, these are not a part of the kit and must be purchased independently.
