Additionally, felt shingles are more durable than conventional roofing felt, providing better protection against water and weather damage.

A sturdy and well-constructed foundation will ensure the structure's stability and longevity while protecting it from water damage. In the case of the Christoffer Log Cabin, we recommend laying a suitable foundation using pressure-treated foundation beams on concrete foundations. This will provide a solid base for the cabin and protect the bottom wall logs from moisture damage. It is important to note that pressure-treated foundation beams are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
